I have met a lot of athletes in my life: the ones who train for fun; the ones who train to compete; the ones who train to win and the ones who train for a living.
All of them have inspired me in the one or other way.
I just want to name three of them who “train for a living”…:
Michael & Andreas Raelert and Jan Frodeno.

I met them at the ITU World Cup in Hamburg this year where Jan had just made the second place in the men’s elite race. Along with him came Andreas Raelert who later battled Chris McCormack on Hawaii finishing as a fantastic second at the IRONMAN World Championships. And last but not least, Michael Raelert, the brother of Andreas showed up too. Michael has just won the World Championship over the half Ironman distance in Clearwater .

Being successful in sports is one thing but staying humble and “down to earth” is another. This applies to these boys and I am happy to have met them…
Once in a while I would actually like to feature some athletes in my Blog to show how interesting people are and what it takes to achieve personal goals…
So if you should know someone I should / could feature… tell me!
Thanks everyone and meet you at my next post…
